Meet the team
Dr Roger Marsh – Certificate in Domiciliary Dental Care, MFDS RCPS (Glas) GDC Number 258733
Since graduating from the University of Glasgow with two prizes and commendation in 2015, Roger has developed his skills as a gentle and caring general dental practitioner. He has a keen interest in adhesive and minimally invasive dentistry, dental implants and enjoys helping patients overcoming their dental anxiety, so that they can enjoy a healthy and aesthetic smile. Since August 2022 Roger has been a trainer for newly qualified dentists here at Glasgow Dental Centre, and so you may see him in surgery alongside other dentists.
Originally from Dumfries, Roger now lives in the south side of Glasgow. When not in surgery he is usually exploring the wild areas of Scotland by foot or by bike or playing trombone with one of a few musical projects.
Dr Shona Baillie – BDS GDC Number 283787
After completing her undergraduate degree in Forensic Biology at Strathclyde University Shona moved to Aberdeen to pursue her lifelong goal of becoming a dentist. She graduated from Aberdeen Dental Institute in 2019 and has been working in general practice ever since.
Shona joined the Glasgow Dental Centre team early 2022 after working in Aberdeen following her vocational training year.
She particularly enjoys working with anxious patients and helping them have a more pleasant dental experience. Shona hopes to expand her skills and knowledge in the future by attending courses in cosmetic dentistry.
In her spare time, she loves to travel and spend time with family and friends. If you can’t find her in a spin class you’ll find her enjoying a film in the cinema.
Dr Zain Rafique – BDS GDC Number 308813
Having completed his degree at the University of Glasgow in 2023 Zain has recently joined the team at Glasgow Dental Centre. He is passionate about delivering exceptional dental care and committed to ongoing professional growth. He puts his patient’s care and comfort first. Eager to stay updated with the latest advancements in dental practices, techniques, and technologies to ensure optimal patient experiences and outcomes. In his spare time he enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle, you can find him playing badminton or on a hill walk with friends.
Shahla Nagi – Dental Hygienist/ Therapist GDC Number 306825
Shahla Nagi is an overseas dentist and qualified Hygiene Therapist registered within the General Dental Council. Her areas of interest are oral health promotion, periodontal diseases, composite restorations, facial aesthetic, Anti-wrinkles treatments and Lip Fillers.
For Shahla, there is nothing more rewarding than helping patients overcome their dental anxieties and manage un co-operative kids. Shahla keeps her knowledge and academic skills up to date by completing a variety of additional education courses through NHS Education for Scotland and any other relevant courses, ensuring she keeps up to date with the latest best practise and maintains full compliance with all dental guidelines and legislation.
She looks forward to expanding her knowledge and skills further in both hygiene and therapy aspects. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming and horse riding as well as cooking and traveling.
Dr. Sina Kokab – BDS GDC Number: 309423
Sina is a graduate from the University of Dundee. He has a keen interest in prosthodontics, Endodontics and incorporating digital workflows to better improve patient outcomes. Outside of work, he enjoys powerlifting, running and reading.
Teena Kovoor – Dental Hygienist GDC Number: 311425
Dr Fai Al Kindi BDS GDC Number 308754
Fai graduated from the University of Glasgow and has since dedicated her career to creating a welcoming, positive experience for every patient who steps into the practice. She is passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality dentistry and takes the time to tailor her care to each individual’s needs. For Fai, dentistry is about more than just clinical treatment, it’s about helping people feel comfortable, listened to, and confident in their smiles. She has a particular interest in working with children, taking pride in making visits to the dentist something they can feel relaxed about.
Her gentle and reassuring manner helps young patients build confidence from an early age, setting the foundation for a lifetime of good oral health. Fai also enjoys restorative treatments, as she finds it especially rewarding to restore both function and appearance, giving patients the confidence to smile freely again. Known among her patients for her calm, friendly, and approachable nature, Fai combines her warmth with meticulous attention to detail. She is committed to ensuring that every treatment is carried out to the highest standard, reflecting her belief that excellent dentistry requires not only skill and precision but also trust, care, and strong patient relationships. Outside of her work, Fai enjoys balancing her busy days with simple pleasures, from preparing quick and creative 10-minute meals to keeping active at the gym. She brings the same energy, dedication, and positivity to her personal life as she does to her professional role, making her a valued member of our team.
Dr Zeeshan Bhatti BDS GDC Number 289904
Dr. Zeeshan Bhatti graduated in 2020 and began his career in general practice in South Lanarkshire. In 2022, he undertook a Senior House Officer role within the Public Dental Service, gaining extensive experience in special care dentistry, domiciliary visits, and prison dentistry across Dumfries and Galloway.
He is trained in both inhalation and IV sedation, and went on to complete three years of hospital training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) across the East and West of Scotland. His experience spans head and neck skin cancer, dentoalveolar surgery, oral cancer management, orthognathic surgery, oral surgery, and oral medicine. In 2025, he further advanced his expertise through focused training in Oral Surgery and Oral Pathology in Edinburgh.
Dr. Bhatti has a particular interest in surgical dentistry, complex extractions, implantology, and sedation. He accepts referrals for a wide range of procedures including wisdom teeth removal (simple, complex, failed extractions, and buried roots), minor oral surgery, orthodontic exposures, removal of impacted canines, biopsies, and IV sedation.
Dr Ezeddin Kathuda BDS, Master Degree in Ortho GDC Number 325908
Dr. Ezeddin Kathuda began his journey in dentistry at the University of Aleppo, Syria, where he studied General Dentistry from 2004 to 2008. In 2009, he commenced his residency in Orthodontics at the same university, successfully completing his Master’s degree in 2013 with distinction, graduating with an honours score of 97%.
Following this, Dr. Kathuda moved to Saudi Arabia in 2014, where he gained extensive experience working as both a general dentist and a specialist orthodontist until the end of 2022.
In early 2023, he relocated to the UK to begin the process of equalising his qualifications through the Overseas Registration Exams (ORE). By March 2025, he had successfully completed the process, received his UK dental registration, and undertook the mandatory training programme in Scotland. In the same year, he also became registered as an Orthodontic Therapist in the UK.
Dr. Kathuda joined the Glasgow Dental Centre team in 2025, where he particularly enjoys managing complex orthodontic cases. He is also preparing to undertake the FORTH examination to further advance his professional qualifications.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kathuda is passionate about health and wellbeing. He enjoys going to the gym and cycling, and is a strong advocate for fitness and healthy living, with a particular interest in supporting the fight against obesity.
