General Dentists
Dr Roger Marsh
Qualifications: Certificate in Domiciliary Dental Care, MFDS RCPS (Glas)

Since graduating from the University of Glasgow with two prizes and a commendation in 2015, Roger has developed his skills as a gentle and caring general dental practitioner. He has a keen interest in adhesive and minimally invasive dentistry, dental implants, and enjoys helping patients overcome dental anxiety so they can enjoy a healthy and aesthetic smile. Since August 2022, Roger has been a trainer for newly qualified dentists here at Glasgow Dental Centre, so you may see him in surgery alongside other dentists.
Originally from Dumfries, Roger now lives in the south side of Glasgow. When not in surgery, he is usually exploring the wild areas of Scotland by foot or by bike, or playing trombone with a few musical projects.
Dr Shona Baillie

After completing her undergraduate degree in Forensic Biology at Strathclyde University, Shona moved to Aberdeen to pursue her lifelong goal of becoming a dentist. She graduated from Aberdeen Dental Institute in 2019 and has been working in general practice ever since. Shona joined the Glasgow Dental Centre team in early 2022 after working in Aberdeen following her vocational training year.
She particularly enjoys working with anxious patients and helping them have a more pleasant dental experience. Shona hopes to expand her skills and knowledge in the future by attending courses in cosmetic dentistry. In her spare time, she loves to travel and spend time with family and friends. If you can’t find her in a spin class, you’ll find her enjoying a film at the cinema.
Dr Zain Rafique

Having completed his degree at the University of Glasgow in 2023, Zain has recently joined the team at Glasgow Dental Centre. He is passionate about delivering exceptional dental care, is committed to ongoing professional growth, and always puts his patients’ care and comfort first. He is eager to stay updated with the latest advancements in dental practices, techniques, and technologies to ensure optimal patient experiences and outcomes.
In his spare time, he enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle; you can find him playing badminton or on a hill walk with friends.
Dr Fai Al Kindi

Fai graduated from the University of Glasgow and has since dedicated her career to creating a welcoming, positive experience for every patient who steps into the practice. She is passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality dentistry and takes the time to tailor her care to each individual’s needs. For Fai, dentistry is about helping people feel comfortable, listened to, and confident in their smiles.
She has a particular interest in working with children, taking pride in making visits to the dentist something they can feel relaxed about. Her gentle and reassuring manner helps young patients build confidence from an early age, setting the foundation for a lifetime of good oral health. Fai also enjoys restorative treatments, finding it especially rewarding to restore both function and appearance. Known for her calm, friendly, and approachable nature, Fai combines her warmth with meticulous attention to detail.
Outside of work, Fai enjoys balancing her busy days with simple pleasures, from preparing quick and creative 10-minute meals to keeping active at the gym.
Dr Ezeddin Kathuda
Qualifications: BDS, Master’s Degree in Orthodontics

Dr. Ezeddin Kathuda began his journey in dentistry at the University of Aleppo, Syria, where he studied General Dentistry from 2004 to 2008. In 2009, he commenced his residency in Orthodontics at the same university, successfully completing his Master’s degree in 2013 with distinction, graduating with an honours score of 97%. Following this, Dr. Kathuda moved to Saudi Arabia in 2014, where he gained extensive experience working as both a general dentist and a specialist orthodontist until the end of 2022.
In early 2023, he relocated to the UK to equalise his qualifications through the Overseas Registration Exams (ORE). By March 2025, he successfully completed the process, received his UK dental registration, and undertook the mandatory training programme in Scotland. In the same year, he also became registered as an Orthodontic Therapist in the UK. Dr. Kathuda joined the Glasgow Dental Centre team in 2025, where he particularly enjoys managing complex orthodontic cases. He is also preparing to undertake the FORTH examination to further advance his professional qualifications.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kathuda is passionate about health and wellbeing. He enjoys going to the gym and cycling, and is a strong advocate for fitness and healthy living, with a particular interest in supporting the fight against obesity.
Dr Haleema Rafiq

Haleema graduated in Dentistry from the University of Aberdeen, having previously qualified with a Master’s in Pharmacy from the University of Strathclyde. Her background in both pharmacy and dentistry has given her a broad understanding of healthcare, alongside a strong focus on providing safe, personalised patient care.
Haleema particularly enjoys working in general dentistry and treating patients of all ages. She especially enjoys working with children and helping them develop positive experiences and healthy attitudes towards dental care from an early age.
Outside of dentistry, Haleema enjoys spending time with her family, watching films, travelling and discovering new places to eat.
Dr Waleed Ahmad

Waleed graduated from the University of Dundee in 2026 and has recently joined the Glasgow Dental Centre team as a general dentist. He is passionate about providing high quality, patient-centred care and enjoys building a good rapport with patients to help them feel comfortable and at ease during their dental visits.
He has a particular interest in restorative dentistry and enjoys keeping up with the latest advancements in the field to continually enhance the care he provides. Waleed values the variety of general practice and looks forward to helping patients achieve and maintain healthy, confident smiles.
Outside of the clinic, he enjoys running, reading, and spending quality time with friends.
Dr Habeeb Asif

Dr Habeeb Asif is a dedicated and approachable member of our dental team who is passionate about creating a welcoming and comfortable experience for every patient. He believes that building strong, genuine relationships is an important part of providing a positive experience, and takes the time to listen to each patient and understand their individual needs.
With a calm, friendly and caring manner, Dr Asif aims to ensure that every patient feels comfortable, listened to and valued from the moment they walk through the door. He believes in taking the time to get to know his patients and creating an environment where they feel relaxed and confident in their care.
Dr Asif is committed to continuing to develop his knowledge and skills, while maintaining the high standards of care and professionalism that are important to him. He takes great pride in being part of a team that puts patients at the heart of everything they do.
Outside of the practice, Dr Asif enjoys spending quality time with his family and loves travelling, exploring new destinations and experiencing different cultures. He is also a keen lover of the outdoors and particularly enjoys taking long walks in the countryside. These moments away from dentistry allow him to unwind, recharge and enjoy time with the people and things that matter most to him.

Teena Kovoor

Teena Kovoor is an overseas qualified dentist and a registered dental hygienist with a passion for helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. She is highly skilled in diagnosing and treating gum-related conditions, providing tailored treatment plans to suit each patient’s individual needs.
Known for her calm and caring approach, Teena is especially good at helping anxious patients feel relaxed and comfortable, ensuring they have the best possible dental experience throughout their treatment journey. Teena hopes to register as a dentist in the long term, with a special interest in aesthetic dentistry and creating beautiful, natural-looking smiles.
Outside of the practice, Teena enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, travelling, singing, and dancing.
Santoshi Waghmare

After graduating as a dentist overseas in 2012, Santoshi spent several years practising dentistry before relocating to the UK. Following her registration in the UK, Santoshi qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist in July 2025 and has since been dedicated to providing high-quality patient care.
Passionate about all aspects of dentistry, Santoshi especially enjoys helping anxious patients feel calm, comfortable, and reassured throughout their appointments. With a particular interest in fillings and preventive treatments, she believes dental care should always be gentle, honest, and patient-focused. Her goal is simple: to create healthy smiles, comfortable experiences, and to show patients that visiting the dentist does not have to feel intimidating—one smile at a time!
Outside of dentistry, Santoshi enjoys painting, exploring new places, and reading.
